Tisenhult Hästeri breeds Swedish warmblood horses focused on showjumping. The company’s mares are to be well merited and come from highly performing ancestries. They are combined with modern sport stallions chosen based on the performance of their offspring, their own performance and their appearance, all to satisfy the highest possible demands regarding the physics and psyche of sports. After being raised in a natural environment and with careful curation, the horses are sold to riders aiming for the highest level.

The horses are raised in herds on large grounds where unhindered movement on shifting terrain creates well-coordinated and strong horses. Living in a flock stimulates the horses and satisfies their social needs. This security is also reflected in their relationship with humans. The horses are developed into trusting individuals that are listened to. The number of horses is kept low to guarantee individual care for each horse. The foals are handled, trained and visit the farrier from being very young – always together with other horses to maintain calm and to feel safe when learning new things. Tisenhult Hästeri also produces its own high-quality fodder.

Our young horses are developed in collaboration with Lisa Maria Norlander, who is based near Kolmården. There, our horses are educated and prepared to become sustainable sporting horses as well as to partake in various championships.
